Grenoble, France, Dec.3, 2013 － Movea (www.movea.com), the leading provider of data-fusion and motion-processing technologies for consumer electronics, today announced its collaboration with Nuvoton, a leader in embedded controllers (EC) for the PC market, to incorporate Movea’s SmartMotion technology into the NPCF204U stand-alone sensor hub family and the NPCF28Bx family of integrated ECs.
The integration of Movea’s highly accurate motion processing models into the Nuvoton products will enable OEMs to enhance consumers’ user experience by delivering compelling motion-driven applications and services for the tablet and notebook markets.

Additionally, the NPCF204U and NPCF28Bx family of devices include a hardware sensor fusion accelerator (SFA) optimized for the sensor fusion algorithm, facilitating the integration of Movea’s SmartMotion embedded software for an ultra-efficient and low power solution. Moreover, these new families of devices support various third-party sensors allowing greater flexibility in sensor selection.
